Edmonton Public School Board (EPSB) is a leader in North America’s second language education. The district offers excellent bilingual programs in seven languages, second language courses in eleven languages, and an extensive French Immersion program.

Edmonton Public School Board has established the Institute for Innovation in Second Language Education (IISLE) as the first institute of its kind in North America.  It serves students, staff, parents and community stakeholders, as well as provincial, national and international partners.
